Hotel Housekeeper

Location: East Haldimand County (Waterdown)

We’re looking for  reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeepers  to help maintain clean, comfortable, and welcoming accommodations for our guests. You’ll be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and common areas to a high standard while following hotel cleanliness, safety, and service procedures.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, works efficiently, and understands the importance of creating a positive experience for every guest.

Duties and Responsibilities

Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned hotel areas

Make beds and replace linens, towels, and other room supplies

Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces

Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and fixtures

Replenish toiletries, towels, and guest amenities

Empty garbage and recycling bins

Inspect rooms to ensure they meet cleanliness and presentation standards

Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to supervisors

Follow hotel cleaning procedures and health and safety standards

Handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely and responsibly

Respect guest privacy and hotel property

Complete assigned rooms and duties within required time frames

Assist with additional housekeeping duties as assigned

Role Requirements/Qualifications

At least 1 year of previous housekeeping and hotel cleaning experience required

Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Familiarity with hotel cleaning standards and procedures

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Ability to work efficiently and independently

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols

Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and lift during a shift

Ability to handle repetitive cleaning tasks
