Housekeeping Laundry Services Supervisor

Location: Port McNeill

Coordinate housekeeping and laundry services across Port Hardy Hospital, Port McNeill Hospital, and Cormorant Island Community Health Centre. Supervise designated staff and evaluate work assignments across multiple sites.
As a casual Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor with Vancouver Island Health Authority, you will administer daily housekeeping and laundry services as assigned. The position supervises 5 to 16 designated staff while supporting VIHA’s commitment to patient safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Regular travel between sites is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate housekeeping and laundry work assignments
Evaluate designated staff work assignments
Supervise 5 to 16 designated staff
Administer daily housekeeping and laundry services
Travel regularly between multiple assigned sites
Requirements:
Grade 10 education
Three years of recent related experience
Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Physical ability to perform position duties
Apply supervisory, housekeeping, laundry, and communication skills across Vancouver Island Health Authority’s multi-site services.
