This role can be based anywhere in Ontario, Canada, with a planned start date of November 2025.

As our Senior Payroll Compliance Business Partner
, you’ll be the trusted expert ensuring that all payroll operations, policies, and year-end activities meet the highest compliance standards.

You’ll guide colleagues and clients through legislative changes, lead complex payroll configurations, and make sure our systems and processes remain accurate, secure, and efficient.

Your expertise will shape how PSI delivers compliant, world-class payroll services to every client we support.

You’ll work closely with our Implementation, Client Services, and Tax teams - the people who bring payroll to life for our clients.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Manage three key portfolios:
    year-end processing
    , complex payroll configurations
    , and system enhancements
    .
  • Lead payroll compliance initiatives across all provinces and territories.
  • Oversee annual filings (T4s, RL-1s, WSIB/WCB, etc.) to ensure every client remains compliant.
  • Develop, document, and improve payroll policies, controls, and reporting processes.
  • Educate clients and internal teams on legislative updates and compliance best practices.
  • Partner with onboarding, banking, and tax teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
  • Support automation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Canadian payroll legislation and system integrations.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and compliance support to payroll team members.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in Canadian payroll compliance and administration.
  • Strong understanding of federal and provincial payroll regulations and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with major payroll software systems.
