Position: HR Intern for Workforce Development

Contribute to workforce strategies as a Human Resources Intern with Sysco in Central Ontario. This role focuses on learning and development alongside training grant research.

As part of the HR team, you will support strategic initiatives that enhance colleague capabilities. Your contributions will involve researching training grants, assisting with application processes, and working on various HR projects. This internship provides hands-on experiences that align with your studies in Human Resources or a similar field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on training grant opportunities

• Monitor application processes and requirements

• Help prepare essential grant application documents

• Engage with HR and leaders for required information

• Track outcomes and budgets for training initiatives

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a post-secondary HR program

• Exceptional organizational and research skills

• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Ability to handle multiple tasks independently
