Position: HR Generalist Role with Child & Family Services
Location: Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands

Step into an impactful role as the Human Resource Generalist for Wiikwemkoong Child and Family Services. This in-office opportunity involves HR management, cultural sensitivity, and community engagement.

In this pivotal role, you will support the success of the Child and Family Services program through effective HR strategies. Partnering with leadership and adhering to the Children’s Bill of Rights, you will ensure that recruitment and HR practices reflect the unique needs of the community and its cultural heritage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recommend effective HR management software solutions

• Develop recruitment and retention strategies

• Manage candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring

• Maintain detailed HR documents and employee records

• Prepare monthly reports and manage HR-related finances

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration

• At least 3 years’ HR experience in social services

• Familiarity with Anishinaabe traditions and values

• Proficient in office systems and technology

• Ability to produce professional documents
