Join Glooscap First Nation as an HR Assistant, where you will enhance recruitment and training initiatives. This role allows you to support diverse HR functions in a meaningful community setting.

In this full-time, one-year term role located in Hantsport, NS, you will dive into HR processes, assisting in recruitment, maintaining records, and facilitating onboarding for new employees. Collaborate with both the HR Generalist and the Director of HR, utilizing ADP Workforce Now to drive efficient HR management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate recruitment process, ensuring candidate follow-ups

• Manage new hire documentation and conduct orientation

• Maintain accurate employee files and compliance records

• Organize payroll support and assist in training coordination

• Prepare HR reports and ensure departmental communication

Requirements:

• HR-related diploma or degree

• 1-2 years in HR administration or a support role

• Strong detail orientation and organizational skills

• Competency in Microsoft 365 and HRIS systems

• Demonstrated communication professionalism
