As the Maintenance Manager
, reporting to the Catering Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision and leadership of all maintenance operations, development and direction of the team to drive the growth, technical productivity, quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction, in accordance with company beliefs, policies, procedures, objectives and applicable legislation. The Maintenance Manager’s responsibilities will also include the assurance of accurate parts control, sourcing and costing, as well as the supervision of staff, resources and inventories for the department.
Your work will include:
Implement, utilize and oversee software used to track any maintenance requests.Manage and oversee the daily maintenance operations, providing support and expert opinion to subordinates and management as needed.Responsible for the completion and retention of documents and reports including but not limited to the following; preventive maintenance, daily maintenance, technical, financial, procedural, maintenance agreements, and department metrics.Establish the overall vision and direction for the implementation of the maintenance operations.Develop and implement strategies for creating or improving maintenance processes and procedures.Monitor financial performance to ensure the department is meeting or exceeding budgetary commitment.Examine reports (e.g. inventory and daily reports) to determine the operational activities of the lodge and ensure optimum performance. Ensure that employees are updating and maintaining maintenance information concerning warranties and work orders.Ensure team is setting the appropriate priorities for preventive maintenance.Keep current with industrial, technological and legislative changes.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Completion of secondary school is required.Class 5 Drivers license or equivalent.Possess and maintain a safe driving record.Extensive experience in similar facility maintenance.Strong computer skills are essential (Excel, Word and other programs).Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).Well organized.Able to multi task & manage staff.Ability to interact with the client on a professional level.Remote site work based on 14 days on site and 7 days at home.Mechanical background and previous experience in the maintenance field is a requirement.
