Position: Brunswick House Interim Housing Program Manager
Location: Haines Junction

Oversee housing programs at Brunswick House First Nation as an Interim Housing Manager. Your expertise will facilitate policy development, construction oversight, and robust tenant relations.

As the Interim Housing Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring housing services align with community needs and regulatory standards. Reporting to the Economic Development Officer, you will collaborate closely with Chief and Council to oversee applications, maintain housing units, and manage budgets. Strong leadership and organizational skills will enable you to address inquiries and implement effective housing policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Chief and Council on housing matters

• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards

• Manage tenant selection and maintain waitlists

• Prepare annual budgets and funding applications

• Provide housing-related inquiries support to the community

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Housing Management or similar

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in property management

• Knowledge of Indigenous housing regulations and funding

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and housing software
