Public Works Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Mayo

Become the Public Works Infrastructure Project Manager, overseeing major capital projects in the transportation and waste sectors. This role ensures the successful delivery of projects valued up to $30 million.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Engineering, you will manage a team dedicated to planning and executing complex infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include preparing engineering analyses, negotiating project approvals, and overseeing public meetings to foster community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering team in project management tasks

• Administer projects from initiation to completion

• Draft design calculations and contract specifications

• Collaborate with stakeholders and community members

• Monitor budget controls and project expenditures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline

• 10+ years in project management, 5+ in a supervisory role

• Professional Engineers of Ontario membership preferred

• Experience with sustainable practices is an asset

• Strong interpersonal and administrative capabilities
