Retail & Store Manager
Reporting to the Divisional Sales Director, the Regional Manager is accountable for meeting sales targets, continuing to maximize all sales opportunities while facilitating exceptional client experiences that align with professional clinical standards within their designated region. The Regional Manager must lead, train and coach the teams to execute all company strategies effectively and be role models of our mission of “Helping more people hear better.”
SUCCESSCRITERIA
- Consistently meet/exceed sales targets for the region.
- Support clients have a positive experience in the clinic.
- Prioritize team development through coaching, training, and performance development plans.
- Ability to manage a large team with staff planning and recruitment efforts.
Management:
- Conduct coaching of the clinic staff and provide acknowledging and developmental feedback to staff, build performance development plans, and follow up milestones.
- Develop and execute training plans to foster continued development and exceptional performance in collaboration with the HR group.
- Evaluate regional staffing needs and determine immediate and future needs plan.
- Build succession plans and bench strength within the region.
- Continuously identify potential candidates with the right skill level and attributes; constantly recruit exceptional talent.
- Work with the Talent Acquisition team to select candidates with the talents and the skills for the required roles; work with HR to ensure all new hire administration has been carried out accurately and on time.
Drive Business:
- Use the Client Journey and support client expectations in daily actions and coach to these expected behaviors in regional clinics.
- Support clinics in resolving customer service issues in a positive and professional manner for a win/win outcome.
- Passionate and knowledgeable of all Demant products; know and share all aspects of product information to clinic teams;
Transfer all brand knowledge and inspire all clinic teams to become Brand Ambassadors.
Operational/Functional:
- Analyze and review all KPI & sales reports and action the necessary steps to maximize per provider productivity opportunities; validate these actions during clinic visits.
- Prepare and plan regular clinic visits to provide effective coaching, support team growth, and drive overall business performance. This will include overnight travel.
- Active Schedule Management.
- Plan to attend a minimum of three (3) Morning Huddles per week.
- Complete a Site Visit Report with an evaluation of the clinic & follow-up actions to be taken by clinic team.
Expense & Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage controllable expenses in clinics, such as supplies, equipment, payroll, staff expenses & maintenance.
- Ensure all clinics are following all inventory handling procedures in an accurate and timely manner.
- University/College Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sale, healthcare related field (Optical, pharmacy etc.) and/or client focused industry in a multi‑unit management capacity.
