Location: Northern Manitoba (Norway House)

Lead wildfire management efforts with Manitoba's Conservation and Wildfire Service as an Area Fire Manager. This role involves planning, implementation, and staffing during critical wildfire responses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement wildfire management programming

• Lead staff during peak wildfire events

• Oversee daily wildfire preparedness and suppression

• Supervise capital projects and staff training

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in Resource Technology with related experience

• Extensive wildfire suppression and detection experience

• Proven project management and team leadership skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
