Senior Manager Corporate Communications Position

Location: Victoria

Lead Corporate Communications and Engagement at the Capital Regional District. This full-time role focuses on strategic communications, brand management, and community engagement.

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Senior Manager will oversee all aspects of Corporate Communications and Engagement. You will guide a dedicated team, develop communication strategies, and ensure effective messaging across multiple platforms. This leadership position requires expert knowledge of media relations, crisis management, and digital marketing to enhance public engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on communication strategies for internal and external audiences

• Lead a team of communications professionals to ensure effective delivery

• Develop and manage corporate branding and identity guidelines

• Oversee media relations and community engagement initiatives

• Evaluate communication strategies using data and feedback

Requirements:

• Degree in a related field

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

• Valid BC Driver's Licence

• Exceptional public communication skills

• Strong leadership abilities
