Program Director for Social Services

Location: Peace River

Elevate family support in Peace River or High Level, Alberta as Program Director with WJS Canada. Lead initiatives focused on strengthening relationships and community support networks while managing operations.

This senior management role encompasses direct leadership over the Peace River and High Level Family Services Centres. The Program Director participates in high-level strategic planning and ensures operations meet accreditation standards. You will oversee fiscal management, staff development, and community resource networking, driving positive outcomes in child and family services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning as part of the senior leadership team

• Ensure effective policies and systems support organizational performance

• Oversee fiscal management and administrative processes

• Lead recruitment and training initiatives for staff satisfaction

• Maintain a community access and resource network

Requirements:

• Executive leadership experience in social services

• 3-5 years in management or human services roles

• Degree in humanities, social sciences, or related field

• Financial and human resource management experience

• Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills
