Position: Chief Executive Officer at Fort William First Nation

Lead Fort William First Nation with integrity as the Chief Executive Officer, shaping community well-being and fostering strategic growth. Drive culturally-grounded programs while ensuring effective governance and transparency.

Reporting directly to Chief and Council, the Chief Executive Officer will provide crucial leadership across all programs, services, and operations at Fort William First Nation. Your experience in high-level management will be essential in aligning community needs with long-term strategies. A strong focus on financial stewardship and operational excellence will guide you in your mission to cultivate vibrant community development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Chief and Council in long-term strategic vision development

• Lead governance meetings and implement Council resolutions

• Direct Senior Management in service delivery

• Oversee annual budgeting and financial reporting

• Liaise with governments and stakeholders for funding

Requirements:

• University degree in Business Administration or related field

• Minimum five years in senior management roles

• Strong financial and operational management skills

• Cultural competency in Anishinaabe traditions

• Valid Ontario Driver's License and travel capability
