About Island Gold District:Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District will become one of the largest and lowest-cost gold mines in Canada. Role Overview
Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, the Training Supervisor is responsible for the continued development, implementation and maintenance of Island Gold’s Health and Safety Program. The Training Supervisor plays a key role in overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of training programs within an organization. Their duties include assessing training needs, developing, and delivering training programs, managing training resources, and evaluating program effectiveness to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills.
Primary Responsibility & Duties
Identifying training needs through various methods like training needs analysis, performance reviews, and feedback from employees and supervisors.
Designing, developing, and implementing training programs, including creating training materials, selecting appropriate training methods, and developing
Coordinating training schedules, logistics, and communication with participants and
Trainers, instructors, or facilitators, providing guidance and support, and ensuring quality of training Stay current on best practices in training and development and making recommendations for program improvements.
Ensure all training programs comply with relevant regulations, policies, and
