Location: Sooke

Join School District No. 62 (Sooke) as the Manager for Major Capital Projects, a full time, temporary role focusing on the delivery and management of capital construction projects. This role requires effective collaboration and critical thinking.
As the Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Facilities and handle all aspects of construction contracts, including budget management, scheduling, and scope definition.

The right candidate will bring a minimum of five years in project management with a solid knowledge of building systems and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities   Manage the delivery of major capital projects in construction
Develop and oversee budgets and schedules
Collaborate with district and municipal staff
Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
Conduct financial analyses and business case developments
Requirements   Degree in Engineering or Architecture or PMP certification
Five years of progressive management experience
Expertise in construction principles and methodologies
Valid BC Driver’s Licence
Robust leadership and communication abilities
