Location: Britt

We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance to lead financial planning, reporting, and operational oversight for our organization in Britt, Ontario. This role will guide budgeting, strengthen financial controls, and provide clear insights that support sound business decisions. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, a practical approach to financial management, and the ability to work effectively across multiple systems and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.

Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets in collaboration with departments and leadership.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for funders, and auditors.

Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Ensure compliance with funding agreements, and other regulatory requirements.

Supervise and mentor finance department staff, ensuring ongoing training and development.

Maintain and enhance internal control systems and financial policies.
