This position within Sobeys’ Climate Action team is instrumental in achieving the corporate objective to cut Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 55% by 2030. You will manage various energy efficiency and decarbonization projects from concept through execution. The ideal candidate combines project management acumen with knowledge of sustainability practices to ensure successful implementation and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project scopes and plans

• Track performance and facilitate continuous improvements

• Collaborate with diverse teams to promote sustainability initiatives

• Lead innovation efforts to explore emerging technologies

• Manage compliance with regulatory and corporate policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• Over 8 years of project management experience

• History of leading sustainability or energy initiatives

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis

• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities
