Position: Manager for Housing and Community Services
Location: Victoria

Join Our Place Society as a Manager overseeing Housing and Community Services. Play a crucial role in managing shelter programs and empowering site supervisors.

This managerial position reports to the Director of Housing, Shelters, & Community Services at Our Place Society. You'll develop operational plans, mentor Site Supervisors, and ensure compliance with housing legislation. Your leadership skills will foster a collaborative team environment and support effective community-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and review Housing program Operational Plans

• Support Site Supervisors in program delivery

• Manage emergencies within housing sites

• Develop relationships with service providers

• Supervise direct reports and ensure staff training

Requirements:

• 3+ years of management in non-profit settings

• Familiarity with housing legislation and tenant rights

• Strong supervisory and communication skills

• Experience with health and social service issues

• Understanding of Indigenous cultures and community challenges
