Position: BWXT Fire Chief for Nuclear Solutions
Location: Renfrew County and Lanark Highlands Township (Deep River)

Lead BWXT's Fire Department as Fire Chief for the CNL Project in Chalk River, Ontario. Oversee operations, training, and emergency response with a focus on safety and compliance.

As Fire Chief at BWXT Technical Services Canada, you'll direct fire department operations while managing personnel readiness and training. This leadership role requires a strong background in fire administration and significant experience in fire prevention and emergency response. You will ensure compliance with regulations and codes while motivating your team to achieve the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily fire department operations and personnel management

• Implement fire prevention and training programs effectively

• Address resource shortfalls and manage performance issues

• Provide leadership during emergency situations and managed response

• Develop operational and capital budget strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in fire science or related field

• 10 years of fire service experience, including 5 years in leadership

• Proven knowledge of fire prevention techniques and regulations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Eligibility for Canadian security clearance
