Take charge at Day & Ross as an Operations Supervisor overseeing dock operations in Saint John, NB. Optimize processes, drive performance, and ensure safety while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will lead a team of Dock Workers, Drivers, and Administrative staff in achieving operational objectives for the terminal. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as you will address performance issues and share monthly stats with the team. Compliance with federal and provincial safety regulations is essential, along with conducting effective meetings to address safety concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily dock operations and staff performance

• Address and escalate performance issues promptly

• Communicate performance metrics and drive improvement

• Ensure compliance with safety and transportation legislation

• Conduct weekly toolbox meetings and safety discussions

Requirements:

• Minimum five years in transportation or dock operations

• Experience in a leadership role is preferred

• Strong skills in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word

• Knowledge of transportation equipment is an asset

• Flexible and hands-on approach to leadership
