The Role
We’re hiring a UGC Creative Strategist – Paid Social who lives and breathes Tik Tok and Instagram trends.
Your job is to spot what’s blowing up online, turn those insights into ad concepts, and work with our media buyers, UGC creators, and editors to test and scale the winners for Smarcomms Meta ads (no client work).
This isn’t about scheduling posts or handling community management. It’s about creative + performance: finding the right hooks, scripting the angles, briefing the team, and analyzing results.
What You’ll Do
- Track Tik Tok & Instagram trends daily (hooks, memes, formats, sounds).
- Turn trends into paid ad concepts with strong hooks and clear CTAs.
- Brief UGC creators and editors so they know exactly how to bring your ideas to life.
- Work with paid social team to test creatives and iterate fast.
- Use performance data (CTR, CPA, watch time, thumbstop rate) to identify winners and scale them.
- Build a creative playbook of proven ads and trend formulas.
What We’re Looking For
- Deep knowledge of Tik Tok and Instagram culture.
- Strong sense of what makes a trend or meme convert into an ad.
- Ability to brief and direct creators/editors clearly.
- Comfortable using ad performance metrics to refine creative strategy.
- You’re part trend-hunter, part creative director, part growth-minded advertiser.
