Position: Sustainability Volunteer for Green ovations
Location: Behchokǫ̀

Contribute to environmental sustainability with the Alma Mater Society as a Green ovations Volunteer in Kingston, Ontario. Support home retrofits and composting initiatives while helping your community.

This volunteer role requires a commitment of 1–3 hours weekly, assisting with scheduled retrofits and composting programs. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills, effective organization, and a client-focused attitude. Engage with a team dedicated to fostering sustainability in the community while gaining hands-on experience in environmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out assigned home retrofits for patrons

• Support various composting program activities

• Assist the Green ovations Deputy during shifts

• Maintain an organized inventory of tools and supplies

• Attend all training and departmental meetings

Requirements:

• Strong analytical, planning, and prioritization skills

• Dedication to fostering a respectful atmosphere
