Position: Program Coordinator for Community Engagement
Location: Riding Mountain (Neepawa)

Join The Salvation Army as a Program Coordinator focused on community engagement. This essential role encompasses program design, volunteer oversight, and client service coordination.

You will be responsible for assessing community needs and orchestrating programs within the Food Bank and Thrift Store initiatives. Collaborate with volunteers and staff to ensure that effective services meet client expectations. Your efforts will support disaster response initiatives, community outreach, and the enhancement of local services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement diverse community programs

• Manage volunteer scheduling and training initiatives

• Supervise Food Bank operations and client support

• Network with agencies for resource collaboration

• Ensure program compliance with legal standards and policies

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in similar roles

• Two-year formal post-secondary education

• Valid Manitoba Driver’s License required

• Certifications in First Aid/CPR and food handling

• Strong administrative and organizational skills
