West Guilford Baptist Church is seeking a full-time or half-time Lead Pastor to faithfully preach and shepherd our community in Haliburton Highlands, Ontario. Be part of a congregation that works to empower believers for ministry and outreach.

As the Lead Pastor at WGBC, you will care for our warm, caring congregation while embracing the challenges and opportunities in our rural community.

Your role will involve preaching and teaching, along with equipping believers for ministry and leading outreach efforts. Applicants should possess a degree from a recognized Bible college or seminary, along with pastoral experience and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proclaim God’s Word through preaching and teaching

• Shepherd and nurture the congregation’s spiritual growth

• Equip believers with ministry opportunities

• Collaborate with volunteer leadership teams

• Engage the community in outreach initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree from a recognized Bible college or seminary (preferred)

• Experience in pastoral ministry and community engagement

• Strong skills in discipleship and leadership development

• Compassionate and mission-minded approach to service

• Strong relationship-building skills within the community
