Executive Summary
St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Dryden, is prayerfully seeking a faithful and collaborative Incumbent to lead our parish as we continue to grow in worship, discipleship, pastoral care, and community engagement. We are looking for a priest who is passionate about proclaiming the Gospel, nurturing people of all ages, and helping us reach new families while building on a strong foundation of faithful ministry.
Situated in the City of Dryden, midway between Winnipeg and Thunder Bay, St. Luke’s has served the community since 1902. Our parish roll has approximately 200 members with an average Sunday attendance of 50. The Parish is supported by committed lay leadership, an active Sunday School, strong pastoral ministries, and a vibrant tradition of outreach and hospitality. We also enjoy positive ecumenical relationships, including sharing our building with First United Church while maintaining our distinct ministries.
The parish offers a modern, fully accessible church building, a spacious parish hall with a commercial kitchen, and a well-maintained five‑bedroom rectory located adjacent to the church. Dryden provides an excellent quality of life, with outstanding recreational opportunities, quality schools, healthcare services, and easy access to the natural beauty of Northwestern Ontario.
We seek a priest who is:
A gifted preacher and teacher of the faith.
Committed to pastoral visitation and compassionate care.
Passionate about church growth and engaging children, youth, and young families.
Comfortable working collaboratively with lay leaders and ecumenical partners.
Visible within both the parish and the wider community.
Compensation and benefits are in accordance with the Diocese of Rupert’s Land Clergy Compensation Guidelines.
