Community Services Support Staff

Location: Peace River

Become a vital part of community outreach as a Community Services Support Staff with The Salvation Army. Engage in local initiatives, support programs, and assist with public relations activities.

In this part-time role, you'll contribute to the Community and Family Services in a Ministry Unit. Responsibilities include assisting with program activities, ensuring confidentiality, and helping with administrative tasks. Collaboration and adherence to policies are key as you work with diverse community members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food bank activities and community programs

• Provide support during events and campaigns

• Maintain confidentiality for program participants

• Carry out administrative tasks as needed

• Keep facilities clean and organized for activities

Requirements:

• Must have a High School diploma

• Up to two years of relevant experience required

• Respect and understanding of The Salvation Army values

• Effective communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to manage physical duties, including lifting
