Salary: $17.75 to $18.00 per hour, plus gratuities

Summary:

The Fox Golf Club is seeking an energetic and well-organized Food and Beverage Lead Assistant to join our hospitality team for the upcoming season, running from April 13th to October 31st.
This is a full-time seasonal position at the Fox Den restaurant, offering a competitive wage of $17.75 per hour plus gratuities. As a pivotal member of our team, you will work both independently and alongside the Food and Beverage Manager in a fast-paced environment. The work week will include weekday and weekend shifts 36 to 44 hours a week on average.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve "Grab and Go" menu items for dine-in and take-out.
• Serve food and beverages at the Fox Den restaurant and operate the outside beer cart as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment (grill, flattop, fryers) while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including daily cleaning and completing opening/closing checklists.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and verifying product quality.

Qualifications:

• Some previous food and beverage experience.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
• Valid Smart Serve Ontario certification and a Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Reliable transportation, as the club is in a rural area without public transit.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
