Sooke Harbour House is one of British Columbia's most iconic boutique hotels and culinary destinations. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, our restaurant celebrates the flavours of Vancouver Island through seasonal cuisine, exceptional service, and genuine hospitality.
We are looking for enthusiastic, service-oriented Servers to join our Food & Beverage team and help create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Position Summary  Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, the Server is responsible for providing attentive, professional, and personalized food and beverage service while ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.
The successful candidate is passionate about hospitality, enjoys working in a collaborative team environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities   Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service.
Present menus, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations.
Accurately take guest orders and enter them into the POS system.
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining service standards.
Prepare and maintain dining areas before, during, and after service.
Work collaboratively with the culinary and bar teams to ensure timely service.
Process guest payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
Assist with private events, weddings, and special functions.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards throughout the restaurant.
Ensure compliance with Serving It Right regulations and company policies.
Qualifications   Previous serving or hospitality experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Positive attitude and strong team-oriented approach.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Serving It Right certification (required or ability to obtain).
