Luxury Sommelier Position in Mayfair

Location: Northwestern Saskatchewan (Battleford)

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year’s experience and a WSET Level 2 qualification or better. You will be responsible for managing our impressive wine cellar, providing thoughtful pairings, and delivering wine knowledge to enhance the dining experience. Personal connections with guests will highlight your role as a culinary guide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized wine recommendations to guests

• Manage wine inventory and cellar operations effectively

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to create food-wine pairings

• Conduct wine knowledge training sessions for staff

• Maintain organization and presentation of the wine cellar

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Junior Sommelier or Sommelier for at least 1 year

• Strong background in wine regions and varietals

• WSET Level 2 or higher certification

• Luxury hotel experience is highly regarded

• Competency with hospitality systems such as Microsoft Teams
