Drive a new culinary vision as the Dining Room Manager at Sooke Harbour House in British Columbia. Focus on developing a high-functioning service team that delivers outstanding guest experiences.

This dynamic role involves direct management of dining room operations, closely aligned with the Director of Food & Beverage and the culinary team. You will oversee daily service, ensuring your team is knowledgeable about menu items and excellently trained. Your focus will be on guest engagement and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage staff through proactive floor management

• Train and mentor servers and support staff effectively

• Facilitate daily meetings on service priorities and menu changes

• Collaborate with kitchen staff for a seamless dining experience

• Address service challenges to enhance guest satisfaction

Requirements:

• 3–5 years in a supervisory restaurant role

• Strong fine dining experience is preferred

• Passion for wine education and service leadership

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities

• Certification in Serving It Right or equivalent
