Elevate your culinary career this Winter 2026/27 as a Sous Chef at Sunburst Lodge. Join our vibrant kitchen team, emphasizing creativity and collaboration in a stunning resort setting.
At Sunburst Lodge, we seek an experienced Sous Chef passionate about food and dedicated to excellent kitchen operations. This role requires five years of culinary experience preferably in a resort environment, along with a strong foundation in menu execution and safety standards. You will directly assist culinary leadership while fostering a positive and energetic team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute menus for assigned kitchen outlet
• Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation
• Supervise cooks and enforce operational procedures
• Maintain health and safety records diligently
• Conduct daily briefings with front of house management
Requirements:
• 5 years of culinary experience in a hotel/resort
• Red Seal Certification or culinary degree
• Food Safe Level 1;
Level 2 is a plus
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations
• Ability to manage kitchen volume and tasks
