We are presently looking for our next great team member as a Kitchen Helper & Dishwasher to join our Food & Beverage team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities include:(but not limited to)
- Properly wash and dry all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards.
- Preparing meal ingredients for the cooks, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients.
- Assisting kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks.
- Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards.
- Maintaining an elevated level of personal hygiene in the work environment.
- Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans.
- Mopping and sweeping the kitchen areas as required.
- Other tasks as required within MPR.
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen experience is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and twisting
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Must be self-motivated and a high energy individual.
- Must be able to multi-task & have strong organizational skills.
- A willingness to learn.
- FOODSAFE certification is an asset
This is a year-round position with an immediate start date.
