Join The Post Hotel & Spa in Lake Louise, Alberta, as a Junior Sommelier, where your enthusiasm for wine will enhance the guest experience. This full-time position emphasizes wine service excellence and education.

You will assist in implementing an outstanding wine program that caters to guests' preferences and menu selections. Responsibilities include maintaining the wine service area, engaging with guests during service, and supporting inventory management. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in continuous learning through tastings and training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate guests on wine characteristics and selections

• Prepare the wine service area for daily service

• Assist with inventory counts and organization

• Ensure a seamless wine service alongside restaurant staff

• Contribute ideas for enhancing the wine program

Requirements:

• Certification in wine studies or similar required

• One year sommelier and fine dining experience

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to adapt in a vibrant restaurant atmosphere

• Capable of physical tasks, including lifting wine cases
