Food Service Supervisor

Tim Hortons in Monkland, Ontario is looking for a dependable and motivated Food Service Supervisor to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time role in a fast-paced coffee shop environment where your leadership will make a real difference to daily operations and customer satisfaction.

In this position, you'll oversee a team of 5 to 10 people across a variety of shifts — including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends
. Your day‑to‑day focus will be on coordinating food preparation and portioning activities, setting and maintaining work schedules, and making sure the team operates safely and efficiently at all times.

You'll also be expected to handle inventory tracking
, submit operational reports, address customer concerns professionally, and train new and existing staff on proper food safety, sanitation, and job procedures
. This role demands physical stamina — expect a combination of standing, walking, bending, and working through tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

This position offers a wage of $18.75 to $18.95 per hour (to be negotiated), with scheduled hours of 30 to 40 hours per week

• Establish methods to meet daily and weekly work schedules efficiently
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food

• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure food and service meet Tim Hortons' quality control standards
• Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit operational reports as required
• Supervise and check the assembly of trays to maintain consistency
• Establish work schedules for a team of 5 to 10 people
