Restaurant Counter Attendant

Position: Restaurant Counter Attendant Role
Location: Whitby Region (Gormley)

Become a vital part of the team as a Restaurant Counter Attendant in a bustling dining environment.

Your role will involve serving customers and managing food preparations on-site.

This position requires handling multiple tasks and efficiently supporting kitchen operations. You will bring clean dishware to tables, clean surfaces, and package take-out orders, while ensuring food safety adherence. A Food Safety Certificate is essential, along with reliable interpersonal skills to enhance the customer dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve customers at counters and buffet tables

• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and tables

• Package take-out food orders efficiently

• Take customer orders and manage supply replenishment

• Prepare and heat simple food items as needed

Requirements:

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent

• Experience of less than 7 months preferred

• Food Safety Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate

• Ability to handle heavy loads

• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills

Engage directly with customers while contributing to a busy restaurant atmosphere as a dedicated Counter Attendant.
