The ideal candidate is highly motivated, comfortable operating independently, and confident managing both the sales and operational side of freight brokerage.
You will operate with a high level of autonomy while being fully accountable for revenue generation, margins, customer relationships, and overall account performance.

Build and grow a book of business within the freight brokerage and transportation market
Develop relationships with shippers, carriers, and logistics partners

Manage freight from quote through pickup, tracking, delivery, and issue resolution
Coordinate with carriers and customers to ensure timely and successful shipment execution
Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the transportation lifecycle
Track sales activity, margins, freight movement, and account performance within CRM and brokerage systems
Identify opportunities for account growth, repeat business, and long‑term partnerships
Operate independently within a commission‑driven, high‑performance environment

2+ years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics sales, or transportation sales
Proven ability to generate new business and consistently close deals
Experience building or managing a book of business preferred
Strong understanding of freight markets, carrier operations, and transportation pricing
Ability to independently manage both sales activity and freight execution
Direct logistics or freight brokerage experience required — non-industry sales backgrounds will not be considered
Strong negotiation, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Experience managing freight from quote through delivery preferred
Comfortable operating within a commission‑driven sales environment
