In this key position, you will join a dynamic, innovative, and customer‑driven Field team and will support our Quebec‑based dealers. Your enthusiasm in satisfying customers, passion for our products, teamwork, professionalism and an outcome‑driven approach will contribute to our mutual success. As Area After Sales Manager, you will coach dealers and implement business development tactics and leverage marketing programs to ensure the growth of the Parts and Service business.

This role will be responsible for visiting dealerships on a regular basis to observe processes, identify performance opportunities and provide face‑to‑face guidance on implementation of business plans and strategies to increase customer satisfaction and grow Parts and Service market share within agreed business objectives.

You will manage the performance of dealers and work cooperatively in a dynamic environment with various stakeholders. You will analyze financial statements, review performance reports and identify trends to develop comprehensive and innovative service, parts, and accessory sales tactics to facilitate the attainment of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Work with dealer principals, general managers, and fixed operations staff to develop and execute business plans that ensure consistent, high‑quality, customer‑oriented processes that meet Volkswagen operating standards.

Consult with dealers on necessary actions to attain mutual business plan goals

Develop, implement and adjust key activities to achieve critical targets

Aggressively capitalize on retail growth and loyalty opportunities

Assist dealers to ensure high‑quality service core processes to achieve customer satisfaction goals

Spot‑check retail and warranty touch points to VW standards and optimize genuine Parts and Service sales goals

Guide each dealer to implement and leverage targeted marketing and merchandising actions

Promote use of B2C, D2D, Autopart, Data Sharing, Service Lead, Quality Checks, Predictive Marketing, Bookings, etc.

Promote parts wholesale dealer participation via Collison Link, Parts Link
24 and Wholesale Parts Pro

Ensure accessory selling is integrated into vehicle sales process at each dealer to achieve accessory sales goals

Develop dealer selling best practices to achieve pre‑paid maintenance target attainment

Manage area marketing and administration budgets to get the best return on investment

Ensure area dealers meet all brand operating standards as they pertain to fixed operations

Ensure area dealers meet all training and certification requirements

Be a change agent for digital vehicle inspections, e‑payment, service videos, texting solution and live scheduling

Assist dealers daily on CX and support with escalated customer care case resolutions and car down situations

Validate proper use of Service Loaner program and funding in the area

Document dealer contacts/visit and action plans for effective follow‑up and accountability

Maintain formal escalation aligned with National Manager and Network Development

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree – commerce or business preferred

3+ years of after‑sales experience required (retail or wholesale)

3+ years experience preferred within a supervisory role

Retail experience in service and parts operations within dealerships

Field experience with an automotive manufacturer considered a strong asset

Thorough knowledge of the automotive after‑sales business

Effective communication skills (written and oral)

Proven analytical skills

Familiar with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel or business intelligence tools

Problem solver with a collaborative approach
