Technical Sales Representative

Location: Northeastern Alberta (Fort Chipewyan)

Role
Applied Industrial Technologies, in Fort McMurray, Alberta has an immediate opening for a motivated, focused, high-energy individual to fill the role of:  Technical Sales Representative .

Duties

Responsible for new business development as well as maintaining existing territory

Prospect for new customers, set appointments and demonstrate product benefits

Work with management to develop sales strategies and new business prospects

Respond to customer product inquiries

Engage in direct sales activities

Promote existing and new products

Anticipate client direction and objectives

Manage a sales territory

Maintain cooperative and productive team relationships

Attend training and sales meetings as required

Meet or exceed sales targets

Qualifications

Sales and service oriented

Conduct themselves in a professional manner

Have good organizational skills

Ability to prospect for new clients

Maintain customer relations and build new relationships

Analytical and problem-solving capability

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Must be able to build relationships with inside sales force

Proven ability to work in a team environment

Self‑motivated and the ability to work independently

Deliver on growth and profitability

Meet or beat annual sales goals

Preference will be given to individuals that show mechanical aptitude and have experience in industrial type sales
