Step into a leading role as a Fisheries Biologist Technical Consultant at ERM, focusing on high-impact projects and technical leadership in Canada. This position emphasizes both project management and mentorship in aquatic resource management.

As a senior fisheries professional, you will guide multimillion-dollar projects and influence environmental outcomes nationally. The role offers the flexibility to work from one of ERM's various locations:
Whitehorse, Yellowknife, Calgary, Saskatoon, Vancouver, or Toronto. Your expertise will shape the Biodiversity & Ecosystems practice while supporting transformative projects in mining and energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to support fisheries field programs

• Design and monitor fisheries offsetting programs

• Compile and analyze fish biology and habitat data

• Prepare technical documents for assessments and permits

• Mentor junior biologists and field technicians

Requirements:

•

B.Sc. in Fisheries Biology or related field

• 4+ years of consulting experience in aquatic biology

• Strong communication skills for technical documentation

• Knowledge of environmental regulations

• Valid driver’s license and safety-focused mindset
