Position: Analytical Coordinator for Environmental Projects

Join GHD as a Chemistry Data Validator/Analytical Coordinator to ensure high-quality data for environmental projects. This full-time position is available in major cities like Edmonton and Vancouver.

As part of GHD's Environmental team, you will provide critical technical support in environmental analytical chemistry. With a focus on oil & gas and mining sectors, you will apply your 5+ years of experience to validate data and assist project teams in making informed decisions. The role demands strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate environmental analytical data using established guidelines

• Draft Quality Assurance Project Plans for various projects

• Coordinate laboratory activities and methodology selections

• Monitor project data quality objectives and turnaround times

• Collaborate with project teams and external labs for successful outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in analytical chemistry

• Knowledge of PFAS analyses and USEPA methods preferred

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Capacity to work independently or collaboratively
