About Island Gold District:Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District will become one of the largest and lowest-cost gold mines in Canada. With the two mines within the district, Island Gold and Magino employ over 900 team members who work in the underground and open pit operations and are located in northern Ontario, just east of the town of Dubreuilville, 83 kilometres northeast of Wawa.

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, the Mine Geologist (UG) provides front-line geological support for definition and delineation drilling programs, including diamond drill coordination, contractor interface, drill forecasting, and cost tracking. The role contributes directly to grade control execution through ongoing geological and structural mapping, interpretation of mineralized zones, and development and maintenance of 3D geological models. Working closely with mine operations, engineering, and planning teams, the Mine Geologist ensures geological interpretations are translated into clear, practical guidance that supports short- to mid-term mine planning and daily production decisions.

The schedule for this position is based in a camp operation working on an 7/7 rotation schedule with flights provided from Sudbury Toronto and Rouyn-Noranda.
Pay or shift range: $80,600 and $128,750 CAD
