Production Geologist Position Côté Gold

Location: Algoma, Sudbury District and Greater Sudbury (Chelmsford)

Join IAMGOLD as a Senior Production Geologist at the Côté Gold Mine, Ontario. Lead geological efforts with a focus on safety, innovation, and team development.

You will play an essential role reporting to the Chief Geologist and focus on continuous improvement within the mine geology department. Responsibilities will include managing mine-to-mill reconciliation, overseeing drilling campaigns, and providing technical support to enhance production efficiency and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the mine geology team’s activities

• Lead grade control operations and geological reconciliation

• Supervise geological data analysis and models

• Integrate inputs from various operational teams

• Support short-term planning with technical insights

Requirements:

• Degree in geology or related discipline

• Eligible for Geologist registration in Ontario

• At least 7 years of geology experience

• Background in open-pit mine operations

• Proficient in geological modeling and related techniques
