Senior Geochemist - Environmental Services

Stantec is seeking a Senior Geochemist with extensive water quality expertise to enhance our Environmental Services team in locations across Canada. This role is crucial for leading projects that impact environmental assessments and water quality management.

As a Senior Geochemist at Stantec, you will play a vital role in driving initiatives related to geochemistry and water quality for our clients. Your responsibilities will include supporting engineering evaluations, leading multi-discipline teams on water-related projects, and providing technical guidance on water issues. You will collaborate with environmental professionals within the organization and actively contribute to assessments and monitoring programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform geochemical and water quality assessments for projects

• Promote a strong health and safety culture

• Collaborate on feasibility studies and environmental impact projects

• Lead multi-discipline project teams effectively

• Analyze data and support technical report preparation

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant consulting experience

•

B.Sc. in Geochemistry or related field

• Knowledge of water quality regulations in Canada

• Proficient in data visualization software

• Valid Driver’s License required
