Coal Laboratory Technician Position in BC

Reporting to the Central Lab Lead, you will play a key role in preparing and analyzing coal samples to ensure operational success. The ideal candidate is motivated and skilled in multitasking while engaging effectively with team members across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to health and safety practices

• Prepare coal samples and conduct assays

• Keep laboratory procedures up to date

• Oversee calibration of lab equipment

• Assist in managing assay records and reporting

Requirements:

• Technical diploma or high school diploma with related experience

• One year minimum in coal sample analysis

• Class 5 Driver’s License required

• Experience with ICO-OES is advantageous

• Compliance with pre-employment testing policies
