- Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate - Experience:
Experience an asset Tasks - Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed
- Install hardware such as knobs and hinges
- Install door, window and other hardware
- Estimate materials, tools and equipment required for projects
- Co-ordinate implementation of repairs, maintenance and renovation
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Read blueprints and drawings Screening questions
