Location: Northeastern Alberta (Fort Chipewyan)

Kichton Construction LP seeks experienced Excavator and Dozer Operators for the Syncrude MLX project near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This non-camp role offers local work with busing provided.

This position requires skilled operators for dozers and excavators to support oil sands mining operations. Candidates should have 2-5 years of heavy utility experience. Responsibilities include excavation, grading, and ensuring safe equipment operation while adhering to site regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate dozers and excavators in a mining environment

• Conduct pre-operational equipment inspections

• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment

• Follow site plans and supervisor instructions

• Report safety incidents and mechanical issues

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of mining or construction experience

• OSSA/BSO/CSO certification required

• Hydrogen Sulfide Awareness certificate

• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test

• Strong understanding of safety protocols
