Underground Utilities Operator

Position: Full-Time Underground Utilities Operator
Location: Riding Mountain (Neepawa)

The City of Brandon is hiring for a full-time Underground Utilities Operator. This role is centered on operating essential equipment and ensuring efficient utility maintenance.

As part of a skilled team, you will be responsible for a variety of equipment used in the maintenance of underground utilities. You will need to be proactive about safety and comply with health and safety regulations while performing your duties. This position demands a driver's license and experience in operating heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavation and utility maintenance equipment

• Maintain and service machinery for optimal performance

• Perform tasks related to sewer and water services

• Comply with safety regulations and training guidelines

• Maintain detailed records of operations and inspections

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid Class 3 driver's license with Air Endorsement

• Two years of experience operating related equipment

• Level 1 Certification in Water Distribution and Wastewater collection

• Willingness to work outdoors in various conditions
