Low voltage technition

• We are seeking a reliable and experienced Low Voltage Technician to install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of security and low‑voltage systems. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in both residential and commercial environments across the GTA.

Install, wire, and configure low‑voltage systems, including:

CCTV & IP security cameras

Alarm systems

Access control systems

Networking (routers, switches, cabling)

Troubleshoot system issues and perform service calls

Run, terminate, and label low‑voltage cabling (Cat5/6, coax, alarm wire, etc.)

Test system functionality and ensure proper operation

Maintain accurate documentation of installs and service visits

Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients

Follow safety procedures, codes, and company standards

Employment Status Full‑time, part time

Educational Requirements High school diploma required; technical training or certificates are an asset

• Minimum 1 year experience in low‑voltage installation (security systems preferred)
• Strong understanding of low‑voltage wiring, cabling, and tools
• Experience with CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems (preferred)
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation

• Valid G driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift equipment, work on ladders, and access tight spaces
• Must pass background check (standard for security system work)
