Position: Jumbo Operator at DMC Mining Services
Location: Western Alberta (Jasper)

Advance your career as a Jumbo Operator with DMC Mining Services at our Cadomin Mine site in Alberta. This essential role includes operating drilling machinery and participating in mining operations.

DMC Mining Services is seeking qualified Development Miners specializing in Jumbo operation and mechanized bolting. This contract position involves a FIFO schedule of 14 days on and 14 days off, combining day and night shifts of 12 hours. You will be actively engaged in drilling, blasting, and the operation of mining equipment to complete excavation works efficiently at the underground site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Jumbo drills and bolters

• Conduct pre-start equipment inspections and maintenance

• Load explosives and carry out blasting operations

• Mentor team members for efficiency improvements

• Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety practices

Requirements:

• Qualified Jumbo Bolter Operator and Mechanized Rock Bolter

• Minimum five years of underground development mining experience

• Familiarity with Sandvik machinery preferred

• Ability to read engineering drawings

• Strong commitment to safety and quality
